FAQ

1. What is Graphic Recording or Visual Scribing?

A visual scribe listens, synthesises and records information visually as it happens in real-time. Participants are able to see their ideas form shape and engage with the visual process, provoking new ways of seeing/ questioning and knowing.

2. Why hire a Graphic recorder/ visual scribe?

Graphic recording or visual scribing, as it is also known,  has the ability to reveal the unseen, provoke thought and engage deep conversations. A scribe offers an outside, fresh perspective on the processes and ideas present in meeting spaces, events and conferences. It also helps with retaining memory and supports the 65% of the population that are visual learners!

3. How do in-person events work, digitally?

It's easy, I hook my iPad up to a large screen, and attendees are able to see notes and drawings emerge in real time.   All that is needed is a connection to a projector and the audience is able to view the drawing, live.

At the end of the event, the images are provided in digital format of your choice and shared within a short time frame of the event to use as you wish. (for example, reflection tools, promotional use, dissemination.

4. Can you also offer live-remote scribing?

Yes, I have a lot of experience scribing remotely using Zoom. There are options here, either I attached my screen as a Zoom participant so that attendees can view my drawings in real time, or I scribe as an attendee and share the visuals at the end or for a reflection purposes. We will find the right way for you.
